Requirements to maintain status as ABV Champion
Have achieved the prestigious ABV credential
Seek opportunities to promote business valuation in your community
Participate in quarterly calls to discuss initiatives in your CPA state society or other local professional organization or at a local college or university
Engage in the ABV Champion program a minimum of 2 hours per quarter
Promote the ABV credential at a minimum of 2 activities per year

Informing the AICPA team of opportunities to promote the ABV credential at community events
Sharing your subject matter expertise by providing testimonials or insights for publications produced by CPA state societies or the AICPA
Mentoring an accounting and finance professional who is studying to earn the ABV credential
Hosting events to network with other business valuation professionals, such as an established business valuation community through your state society
Attending state society and local events to speak or represent the ABV credential
Inspiring others to pursue the ABV credential through outreach, such as speaking at a state society or other professional organization event or at a local college
