Arthur (Art) Auerbach
CPA, CGMA
Art is an independent tax consultant located in Atlanta, GA., specializing in tax consulting and estate and financial planning for individuals and closely held businesses. He is a current member of the AICPA Tax Practice and Procedures Committee and past member of the AICPA Tax Executive Committee, IRS Advocacy and Relations Committee, Journal of Accountancy Editorial Advisers and the Individual and Self-Employed Technical Resource Panel Art current serves as the Chair of the Georgia Society of CPAs Federal/State Tax Group and is a member of the Tax Commissioners Advisory Group. Art has also served as an advisor to the District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue and the Tax Commissioners Advisory group in Virginia and on the Ethics Committee of the Virginia Society of CPAs. He is a nationally recognized speaker on a variety of tax topics offered for continuing education for CPAs and financial planners and has authored several publications and articles. Art is licensed in Georgia, Virginia, District of Columbia and New York and is a life-long member of the American Institute of CPAs.
