What is the Women’s Global Leadership Summit?
The AICPA & CIMA Women’s Global Leadership Summit (WGLS) is an annual three-day event designed to support the growth of women in the accounting and finance profession by providing an abundance of educational experiences, opportunities to connect and engage, be empowered, motivated, and inspired.
The Summit began in 2012 and continues to showcase uplifting keynote speakers, thought-provoking and interactive general sessions and valuable opportunities for anyone interested in growing in this space. You will participate in sessions designed to leverage your interests and career level, improve your leadership skills, and enhance your ability to support the growth of women in the workplace so that everyone can thrive.
I am interested in attending. What should I expect?
You will have the opportunity to connect with peers and allies in the profession dedicated to learning how to continue advancing women in the workplace. Connection opportunities include: networking at receptions and lunch, meet and greet at wellness activities, engage in discussions at roundtables, or join a dine-around dinner.
Opportunities for Mentorship. For those interested in taking on a mentoring role, or if you’re looking for a mentor, you can participate in the speed mentoring session at the start of the Summit.
Participate in sessions tailored to your career level and interests: Gain valuable insights into leadership, career advancement, and navigating the challenges specific to women in the workplace.
Sessions are organized into three learning tracks to appeal to all at every stage in their career:
Experienced Leaders for attendees with 10+ years of management experience. Topics include, but aren’t limited to, Leading Change and Transformation and Shifting from Manager to Motivational Leader.
Emerging Leaders for attendees with 0-10 years of management experience. Topics include, but aren’t limited to, Building a Book of Business and Balance Begins with Boundaries.
Specialized Knowledge & Application for all attendees. Learn more about topics like AI/Gen AI, leadership, work-life balance, and more.
