Pricing and renewals

Why did I receive a section renewal notice? I only recently became a PFP Section member?
Section membership dues follow the same timeline and process as your general membership dues. (All membership renewal payments are due each year by July 31; the first renewal notices are sent in June.)

A section membership runs from Aug. 1 through July 31. Your initial dues are prorated based on the month you joined.

For example:

  • If you purchased a section membership in May, June or July 2022, your initial payment was prorated for 14, 15 or 16 months, respectively, to cover the remaining months in the 2021–22 membership year, plus the upcoming 2022–23 membership year. Your membership would expire July 31, 2023. This means you would not receive a renewal notice for section membership during the 2022–23 membership year.

  • If you purchased a section membership from January to April 2022, your initial payment was prorated to cover the remaining months in the 2021–22 membership year only, and your membership would expire July 31, 2022. This means you would receive a renewal notice for section membership during the 2022–23 membership year.
