The partnership aims to promote the CGMA Professional Qualification among students through greater academic integration, awareness initiatives, and career-focused engagement. It will support students in building skills aligned with the evolving needs of the finance and accounting profession.

Through this collaboration, both parties will work together on initiatives such as student engagement sessions and industry interaction, helping to enhance career opportunities for students pursuing the B.Com (Risk Management) programme alongside the CGMA qualification.

Andrew Harding, FCMA, CGMA, Chief Executive – Management Accounting at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, said:

“India has a strong and dynamic pipeline of young talent entering the finance and accounting profession, and it is important that students are equipped not only with strong academic foundations, but also with the professional and business skills required in today’s evolving environment. Collaborations like this help connect education with world class career pathways, enabling students to build capabilities early and position themselves for long-term success in India and globally.”

Ajay Lalwani, FCMA, CGMA, Country Manager – India at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, said: “With demand for strategic finance and accounting expertise continuing to grow, this collaboration will help develop the talent needed to support India’s evolving economy. It also reinforces Bengaluru’s position as a global centre of excellence for finance and business services, by equipping students with the skills and capabilities required in a dynamic and competitive landscape.”
