CIMA, PICPA, and PAMA renew tripartite partnership Memorandum of Understanding to nurture accounting and finance talent in Philippines

7 July 2025, Manila, Philippines – The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Philippine Association of Management Accountants (PAMA) have announced that they have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for another three years.

The agreement allows PICPA members to become CIMA members, subject to passing the CGMA Professional Qualification Strategic Case Study Exam. Candidates will also need to meet the practical experience requirements to demonstrate their competence and experience in the workplace. PAMA will run the programme locally in the Philippines, supporting candidate registration and progression. Over the years, the agreement has opened up new employment opportunities for accounting, finance, and business professionals and given employers in Philippines access to a wider talent pool.
