1 December 2025, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) won BMCC Business Excellence Award under the UK-Malaysia Partnership of the Year category. This recognition reflects CIMA’s long-standing commitment to advancing the accounting and finance profession in Malaysia and to nurturing future-ready talent that will drive the nation’s economic growth.
In 2019, The Association established a regional hub in Kuala Lumpur to support members and candidates not only in Malaysia and Southeast Asia but also globally. Malaysia also hosts CIMA’s flagship events, including AICPA & CIMA Engage Asia and the CGMA Leadership Academy and provide a platform for knowledge exchange and networking opportunity for finance community.
The BMCC Business Excellence Awards was established in 2018 to celebrate the long-standing business relations between the UK and Malaysia by recognising and honouring the best of UK and Malaysian companies across various achievement categories. The Awards symbolise an epitome of recognition offered to CIMA that have excelled and progressed in the business landscape of Malaysia and United Kingdom.
