Beijing, September 19, 2025 — The CGMA100 North Asia Management Accounting Leadership Summit, co-hosted by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), took place today in Beijing under the theme “Driving High-Quality Development Through Management Innovation Across Industries.”
Launched in 2017, CGMA100 is a premier thought-leadership platform established by CIMA to promote management accounting and advances the profession in China serves as a key forum for exploring the role of finance in enterprise transformation and economic development. This year’s summit was attended by senior executives, finance leaders, and academics from across China.
Professor Xu Dingbo, Founding Chairman of CGMA100 and Associate Dean of CEIBS opened proceedings, highlighting how management accounting innovation can help enterprises navigate complex macroeconomic challenges. Vicky Li, FCMA, CGMA, Vice President of North Asia at AICPA & CIMA, emphasized the importance for finance professionals to embrace digital skills and global perspectives in order to support high-quality growth.
Andrew Harding, FCMA, CGMA, Chief Executive of CIMA delivered a keynote speech, stating: “Finance leaders must continue to build the skills and resilience needed to navigate a dynamic world, while helping their organizations create sustainable value for the future.”
The full-day event featured three keynote speeches and three roundtable panel discussions. Topics explored included management innovation, digital transformation, sustainable value creation, and the evolving role of CFOs in today’s dynamic business environment.
