As a result of a decision of a hearing panel of the Joint Trial Board, Mr. Pontarelli’s AICPA membership was terminated effective November 19, 2025. Mr. Pontarelli was found guilty of violating AICPA bylaw 7.4.6 in that he failed to comply with the educational and remedial or corrective actions as directed by the ECA in an executed settlement agreement.
