CIMA has made the decision not to accept new registrations for the Level 7 apprenticeship when the new Version 2.0 of the standard is introduced. Based on the current timeline provided by Skills England, the new standard is expected to come into effect on 18 December 2026 (subject to change). At that point, CIMA will no longer accept new entrants onto a Level 7 apprenticeship programme.
