Official Rules
Entry Period: The CGMA Week Celebration: Spin to Win Giveaway (the “Giveaway”), sponsored by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) (“AICPA” or “Sponsor”), will take place in connection with the CGMA Week Celebration: Spin to Win virtual event on November 5, 2026. The Giveaway begins at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends at 3:45 p.m. ET, or when all designated prize opportunities have been completed, whichever occurs first (the “Entry Period”). The Sponsor's designated computer system is the official timekeeping device for the Giveaway.
Eligibility: The Giveaway is open to AICPA members who hold the CGMA qualification, are at least 21 years old at the time of the Giveaway, register for and attend the Event, and are legal residents of one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. Territory ("Eligible Individuals"). Employees, officers, and directors of AICPA, its divisions, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the agents and advertising and promotion agencies of each of the foregoing, and any other entity that develops, produces, or distributes materials for or related to this Giveaway, and members of their immediate families (defined for these purposes as including parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents, and each of their respective spouses) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above, are NOT eligible to enter or win. By participating in the Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges which are final.
How to Enter: NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. REGISTRATION FOR OR PARTICIPATION IN THE CGMA WEEK CELEBRATION: SPIN TO WIN DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
There are two ways to enter:
(1) Eligible Individuals who register for and attend the CGMA Week Celebration: Spin to Win on November 5, 2026 during the Entry Period will be eligible to participate in the Giveaway. Registration for the Event is required. The Event will be conducted virtually via Zoom. During the Event, Sponsor will conduct designated trivia questions, and Eligible Individuals who correctly answer a designated trivia question may be selected by Sponsor for an opportunity to spin the virtual prize wheel.
(2) Any other eligible individual may enter the Giveaway without attending the Event by legibly printing their name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address, and the words "CGMA Week Celebration: Spin to Win Giveaway" on a 3" x 5" or 4" x 6" card and mailing it to: AICPA, CGMA Week Celebration: Spin to Win Giveaway, ATTN: Nancy Marc-Thrasybule, 220 Leigh Farm Road, Durham, NC 27707. Mail-in entries must be received by Sponsor no later than November 5, 2026.
All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. If you do not provide your name, mailing address, email address and telephone number, YOU WILL NOT be entered in the Giveaway.
Limit one (1) entry per person. Each entrant is eligible to win only one (1) of the fifteen (15) prizes to be awarded.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify illegible, incomplete, misdirected, late, fraudulent, or falsified entries. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, late, or falsified entries, whether caused by Sponsor, a participant, technical issues, or any third party. Sponsor is not responsible for the unavailability or inaccessibility of any Event platform, internet service, electronic transmission, mail service, or unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process, trivia activity, virtual prize wheel, or Giveaway.
By entering this Giveaway, participants acknowledge that Sponsor, its judges, and all organizations involved in the administration of the Giveaway, together with their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents, make no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, in fact or in law, regarding any prize, including its quality, condition, fitness for a particular purpose, or merchantability, and shall not be responsible for any such warranties or representations.
Selection of Winners: You have not yet won. Winners will be determined during the CGMA Week Celebration: Spin to Win Event from eligible participants and eligible mail-in entries received during the Entry Period. Each winner will be eligible to receive only one (1) prize. Winner selection will be conducted by the Sponsor, the decision of which is final. By participating, you agree to be bound by the selection of the winners by the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible participants and eligible entries received.
Winners will be announced during or after the Event. Sponsor may require winners to provide contact information and execute any documentation reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and facilitate prize fulfillment. Sponsor will send or otherwise distribute prizes following winner verification and receipt of any required documentation. A winner's failure to claim a prize, provide requested information, or comply with any of the Official Rules may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. If a winner's contact information is incorrect, illegible, or invalid, the winner may be disqualified. Sponsor is not liable for awarding any prize to an entrant who has violated these Official Rules.
Each winner, by participating in this Giveaway, hereby grants the Sponsor the right to use and publish his or her legal name and state of residence online and in print, and/or in any other media, in connection with the Giveaway. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winning entrant, the holder of the email account associated with the winning entry at the time of such entry shall be declared the winner. An entrant may only win one (1) prize.
Prizes: Three (3) $200 AICPA conference registration discounts, each redeemable toward registration for an eligible AICPA conference and required to be redeemed by November 19, 2026; two (2) $100 CPE course coupons, each redeemable toward an eligible AICPA CPE course and required to be redeemed by December 31, 2026; and ten (10) $25 Amazon gift cards. Amazon.com, Inc. is not a participant in and does not endorse, support, or sponsor this promotion. Amazon is a registered trademark of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $1,050. Prizes will be awarded, one (1) to each of the fifteen (15) winners selected. The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is unavailable. No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except as provided herein. Sponsor is not liable for any damage to a prize occurring during delivery to a winner. Each prize shall be awarded without warranty from Sponsor of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Each winner is responsible for the reporting, filing, and payment of all applicable federal, state, and local taxes associated with receipt of a prize. Any costs or expenses not specifically identified in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Eligibility and Release: AS A CONDITION OF PARTICIPATING IN THIS GIVEAWAY, ENTRANTS AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, AS WELL AS THEIR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES, FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY, CLAIM, LOSS, ACTION, DEMAND, OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH PARTICIPATION OR ANY ATTEMPT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GIVEAWAY OR ANY PRIZE WON, OR THE MISUSE OR MALFUNCTION OF ANY PRIZE AWARDED.

Disputes/Choice of Law: Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that this Giveaway shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of North Carolina, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Sponsor reserves the right to take such action as it deems necessary to enforce these Official Rules and ensure the fair operation of this Giveaway, such as situations in which the Giveaway does not operate properly due to technical or other unforeseen circumstances, including without limitation barring entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, terminating or modifying the Giveaway, or modifying without prior notice these Official Rules. By entering, entrants acknowledge and agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the General Court of Justice of Durham County, North Carolina. Any and all disputes, claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket expenses incurred (if any) in entering this Giveaway. You agree as a condition of entering this Giveaway that you will not seek, and hereby waive all rights to awards for, attorney's fees, punitive, multiple, incidental, and consequential damages, or any other damages other than the actual out-of-pocket expenses specifically enumerated herein. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CIVIL AND CRIMINAL LAWS AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Winners List: The winners’ names will be available following the verification of the winners and the awarding of the prizes. You may also request a copy of the Official Rules or the list of winners by sending a self-addressed, 10 business-size envelope to: CGMA Week Celebration: Spin to Win Giveaway, ATTN: Nancy Marc-Thrasybule, 220 Leigh Farm Road, Durham, NC 27707. Indicate "Rules" and/or "Winners’ List," as appropriate, on the front of your outer mailing envelope, in the lower left-hand corner. All other Giveaway inquiries may also be directed to this address.

By participating in the Giveaway you hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage and release of your personal information as described in Sponsor’s privacy policy and as authorized in these rules.
