Jan Lewis, CPA, CGMA is the 2026-2027 Chair of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (Association).

Throughout her career, Lewis has served in several volunteer roles with the AICPA: AICPA Board of Directors, AICPA Life Insurance and Disability Plans Committee, AICPA Tax Practice and Procedures Committee, AICPA Tax Executive Committee, and as a member and elected state representative of Council.

Lewis is a Tax Partner with BMSS Advisors and CPAs in Ridgeland, MS. Her responsibilities include income and estate tax planning, research, and compliance for individual and business clients. Her areas of practice include healthcare, oil & gas, construction, real estate, and high net worth individuals. She has taught continuing education classes throughout Mississippi and nationwide to CPAs in the areas of income tax planning, business tax matters, and S tax matters, and has given presentations on financial literacy, tax reform, and other tax issues to various groups across the country.

She has authored articles on tax matters for the Tax Adviser publication and has served as a webcast presenter for the AICPA’s Tax Division. She has been interviewed by Fox Business News, NPR, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Bankrate, and the Detroit Free Press for her insight on various policy and practice matters affecting taxpayers. She was selected as one of Forbes Top 200 CPAs in America in 2024.

She is active in the Mississippi Society of CPAs, previously serving as President of the Society, a member of the MSCPA Board of Governors, an officer of the Society’s Central Chapter, and a trustee of the Mississippi Tax Institute. She currently is a member of the MSCPA's Long Range Planning Committee and the MSCPA's Young CPAs Liaison Committee.

Lewis is a native of Jackson, MS, and a 1985 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Mississippi State University. She is a member and past chair of the Adkerson School of Accountancy Advisory Board at MSU and was selected as the MSU College of Business's Alumni Fellow for 2016. She was chosen as MSU Beta Alpha Psi Alumnus of the Year in 2000.

Alfred Ramosedi, FCMA, CGMA, is the 2026-2027 President of the Charted Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Co-Chair of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (Association).

Alfred’s career started at Nedbank Limited in 1995 and spent 15 years at Senior and Executive levels. In 2008 appointed Managing Executive of Nedbank Private Bank, then joined ABSA Bank in 2010 and African Bank in 2012. Appointed CEO of Bayport Financial Services in 2017. Works with the Board of Bayport Financial Services: his key deliverables are designing and implementation of strategy, performance management, regulatory and stakeholder management and investor/funder relationships.

He has transformed Bayport Financial Services’ strategy from unsecured lending to now focusing solely on Financial Wellness partnerships with over 100 key blue-chip employers. This has reduced the financial risk of the company drastically, during the period of global financial difficulties.

He joined the CIMA Gauteng branch as its Secretary in 1998 and became the President of the South Africa Division in 1999. He was instrumental in the creation of the Southern African Regional Board in 2000, and became its inaugural Chairman in 2002 until 2009. Was co-opted onto the CIMA Council in 2009, and served on three Council Committees namely: Global Markets, Marketing and Professional Standards Committees until he stepped down in 2011. He has also served on IFACs PAIB Subcommittee.

He is a keynote speaker at CIMA Local and International Conferences. In 2023 he re-joined the CIMA Council and serves on AICPA Board. He has been awarded the CIMA Silver Medal. Additional Association Committees that he currently serves on are Audit and Finance and Exams Board. He was part of the Association’s CEO Search Committee. Alfred was elected as CIMA’s Deputy President at the June 2025 AGM. He travels extensively and is a strong advocate of the profession globally.

Additionally, he served on SAICA’s Accounting Technician’s Sub-Committee.

Alfred studied BComm, and is FCMA/CGMA, has a Wits University MBA and Global Executive Development as well as a Diploma in Banking.

He is married with three children and enjoys reading, cycling and running.

Lindsay Stevenson, CPA, CGMA is the 2026-2027 Vice Chair of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

Throughout her career, Stevenson has served in several volunteer roles with the AICPA: AICPA Board of Directors, AICPA Nominations Committee, AICPA Depository Institutions Expert Panel, chair of the Audit & Finance Committee, the Emerging Professionals Initiatives Committee, and the Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee, and as a member and elected state representative of Council.

Stevenson is Partner, Strategy & Operations at AAFCPAs where she helps ensure the firm’s strategic priorities are carried through in practice to better support clients. Working across service areas, she aligns decisions related to operations, systems, and technology to strengthen how the firm delivers insight, coordination, and long-term value.

She brings more than 20 years of experience working with executive leadership and boards across professional services and financial institutions. She has guided organizations through complex decisions around growth, technology investment, and organizational alignment. As a consultant, she has overseen diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives, cultural alignment frameworks, coaching programs, and organizational alignment plans.

Stevenson was named one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Accounting by the AICPA and CPA Practice Advisor multiple years and is a recipient of both the AICPA’s Outstanding Young CPA of the Year award as well as the South Dakota Society of CPAs’ Outstanding Young Professional Award. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Gonzaga University’s School of Business Administration.

Matthew Hansard is the 2026-2027 Deputy President of the Charted Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Originally trained as a research scientist, Matthew began his career evaluating novel drug treatments for Parkinson’s disease before transitioning into business and finance. For over a decade, he worked at senior and executive level in large US- and UK‑listed organisations. Since 2014, he has focused on SME private‑equity environments, supporting value creation through growth strategy, buy‑and‑build expansion and operational transformation.

Over the years, Matthew has been actively engaged with CIMA, holding a range of volunteer roles at local, regional and global level. He was elected to CIMA Council in 2023 and currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee.

He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, representing AICPA and CIMA, the Association’s Audit and Finance Committee, and acts as Board liaison to the UK & Ireland Regional Engagement Group.

John Graham is the Immediate Past CIMA President and Immediate Past Chair of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.

John Graham is an experienced NHS finance leader with over twenty years in Chief Finance Officer and Director of Finance roles across England, bringing deep expertise in strategic financial planning, financial governance, and system‑wide collaboration. His career spans a diverse range of NHS organisations, including the Department of Health, acute providers, integrated care systems, and specialist national bodies.

Professional Profile

John has built a reputation for delivering high‑quality financial management, robust stewardship of public funds, and strong organisational performance. He is known for:

• Leading finance functions that consistently meet financial and operational targets

• Aligning financial plans with clinical and service priorities

• Building collaborative relationships across executive teams, clinicians, system partners, and national bodies

• Championing professional standards, accountability, and continuous improvement in all organisations he serves

John is a committed advocate for CIMA, promoting the profession within individual organisations and across the NHS. He actively supports the development of future finance leaders and is currently coaching several colleagues.

Awarded CIMA Fellowship in 2011, John has been a long‑standing ambassador for the Association. His contributions include:

• Serving as a member of the Membership Committee, Exam Board, and Appointments Committee

• Former Chair and continuing member of the CIMA North West England & North Wales Area Board

• Leading member engagement, events, and professional development initiatives

His work has strengthened CIMA’s visibility, influence, and relevance across the NHS.

Personal & Community Roles

John lives in Lydiate, Liverpool, with his wife, and has three children who live locally. He is deeply committed to public service and community leadership:

• Chair, Multi‑Academy School Trust in Merseyside

• Non‑Executive Director, New Directions – a leading provider of adult social care in Sefton supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and older people through person‑centred care

Outside of work, John enjoys travelling and is an enthusiastic sports fan.

Lexy Kessler, CPA, CGMA is the Immediate Past Chair of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Co-Chair of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (Association).

Throughout her career, Kessler has served in several volunteer roles with the AICPA: AICPA Board of Directors, AICPA Audit and Finance Committee, PCPS Executive Committee, AICPA Investments Committee, and as a member and elected state representative of Council.

She is a Partner, Assurance Services at Aprio, serves on its Board of Directors, and is the Chair of the firm’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Council. She previously led the firm’s Government Contracting segment. She has 40 years of experience in public accounting in assurance, tax, and consulting—serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders and changemakers in the Mid-Atlantic region.

She was also Chair of the National Pipeline Advisory Group, focused on developing an inclusive pipeline strategy for the accounting profession in the U.S.

Kessler has won several awards, including AICPA’s Most Powerful Women in Accounting for three consecutive years, Maryland’s Top 100 Women as a Circle of Excellence member, and MACPA’s Most Powerful Women to Watch in Accounting. She was also named to the Washington Business Journal’s list of “Women Who Mean Business.”

Kessler earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland. She is a former Chairman of the board of the Maryland Association of CPAs and the Choral Arts Society of D.C. and is the Treasurer for the Professional Services Council. She also serves on the Board of Trustees at Marymount University.

Mark Koziel, CPA, CGMA, is the President and CEO of the American Institute of CPAs, and CEO of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the most influential body of professional accountants in the world. Formed in 2017, the Association combines the strengths of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the AICPA.

Koziel was named to this role by the Association’s Board of Directors in October 2024 and began his tenure on January 1, 2025. He brings a wealth of leadership experience, having served the profession for decades. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Allinial Global, an association of independent accounting and advisory firms with 268 member firms worldwide. He began that role in 2020 after 14 years with the Association (previously AICPA), where he served in a number of roles, including executive vice president, Firm Services.

Koziel began working in the profession at a large accounting firm, Lumsden McCormick, based in Buffalo, New York. Throughout his career he has been a consistent advocate for accountants, developing a strong global understanding of the accounting and finance profession.

He is known for his commitment to key values, such as strategic growth, teamwork, innovation, and excellence, and has been recognized with many notable awards. He regularly appears on Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting and in 2017, Koziel received the Dr. Joseph R. Coppola ’40 Outstanding Alumnus Award from Canisius University’s Accounting Department. Among his many accolades, Koziel was also named to CPA Practice Advisor’s Top Thought Leaders in Public Accounting and the International Accounting Bulletin and The Accountant’s list of the Global Accounting Power 50.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Koziel graduated from Canisius University in 1991 with a BS, accounting degree. He now resides in North Carolina with his family.
