Meagan M. Wellbrock, CPA, is an assurance principal and the audit and assurance service line leader for AdamsBrown LLC (AB). Her responsibilities include leading and managing all assurance engagements for AB. Meagan has extensive experience in working with governments within the state of Kansas, as well as in providing single audit services to those governments. She also serves on AB’s board of managers.
Meagan began her accounting career as an intern with AB in 2006. She has advanced within management of the firm and enjoys mentoring new staff, receiving the greatest satisfaction in watching these staff grow as accountants themselves. When not at work, Meagan enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, or playing piano to wind down for the day.
Meagan graduated with honors from Fort Hays State University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in accounting and a minor in finance. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma green belt. Meagan is a 2017 graduate of the AICPA Leadership Academy, a 2015 recipient of the AICPA and KSCPA Women to Watch Emerging Leader Award, and a KSCPA “20 up to 40” graduate.
