Recognize a CITP rising star with a standing ovation

Do you know a fellow CPA who is also a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and surpasses expectations or regularly inspires their colleagues? Might that be you?

Eligibility requirements

CPAs who are age 40 and under anddemonstrate professional achievement in information security, cybersecurity, SOC for cybersecurity, information privacy, business intelligence, data management, data analytics, IT governance, IT risk or SOC reporting.

  • Eligible nominees must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold an active CPA license issued by a qualified state board of accountancy

  • Be 40 years old or younger

  • Be an AICPA member in good standing

  • Have achieved the Certified Information Technology Professional credential

  • Exhibit outstanding professional achievement

Nomination process

To submit your application please complete the online form.

All nominations require a letter of recommendation from a partner or manager at the nominee’s current or previous employer. Applications are due by Friday, April 28, 2023.

Recognition for excellence

A noteworthy accomplishment, the Technology Advisory Standing Ovation Recognition honors young CITPs for their innovation, contributions and outstanding professional achievement.Recipients will be highlighted in an AICPA & CIMA press release, featured on the Technology Resource Hub, and be recognized during the AICPA & CIMA ENGAGE conference awards gala on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
