The Regulatory Compliance Board provides independent oversight of CIMA’s regulatory responsibilities and the framework that supports compliance with its Charter, Bye-laws and wider public interest obligations. Its role is to monitor and oversee key regulatory functions, including the licensing and supervision of Members in Practice, anti-money laundering oversight, professional development and membership requirements, while also making or approving Regulations where appropriate. The Board brings together Association Board members, appointed Council members and at-large members to provide a balanced governance structure, and may delegate specific matters to other committees or working parties while retaining overall accountability. In doing so, it helps ensure that CIMA’s regulatory arrangements remain robust, proportionate and aligned with legal, constitutional and stakeholder expectations.
