This report presents two topics related to not-for-profit entity (NFP) financial reporting:

  • Guidance about presenting an intermediate measure of operations in a NFP statement of activities. A number of NFPs are improperly reporting such a measure.

  • A reminder about certain disclosure requirements that are being missed by some NFPs and a simple tool to help ensure such disclosures are not missed on your engagements.

Numerous NFPs choose to display a self-defined measure of operations in addition to the required measure
