FAQs
How can I access the study guides?
When are tests offered?
On any day of the year, you may register for the FSA Credential exams and choose an exam date within one of three exam periods: January–February, May–June and September–October. Several test times are available on any given exam day.

For example, if you register for an exam on March 30, you can choose to take the exam on any available day in May or June. If you register for an exam on May 15, you can take the exam on any available day throughout the rest of May or in June, or on any available day in September or October.
How much time should I spend preparing for the FSA Credential Level I exam?
We recommend you spend 30–50 hours preparing for each of the FSA Credential exams. The Level I exam covers essential concepts and emerging practices. You might find you are already familiar with some concepts, thus reducing your study time. However, all candidates should review the entire curriculum and use the review exercises and sample questions provided in each study guide.
Are the exams proctored?
Yes. Both in-person and online exams are monitored by a Pearson VUE proctor. You must verify your identity and meet requirements to ensure the integrity and security of the testing experience.
How do I reschedule my exam?
If the exam is more than 48 hours away, you can reschedule free of charge by logging in to the Pearson VUE online portal or by contacting Pearson VUE.
If the exam is less than 48 hours away, you can reschedule by contacting Pearson VUE, but will be liable for a rescheduling fee of $60.
After completing Level I, how long do I have to pass Level II?
You must pass the Level II exam within two years of passing Level I. If you do not pass the Level II exam within two years, you will need to retake the Level I exam and then pass the Level II exam to earn the FSA Credential.
How do I contact the FSA Credential team?
Email fsa_credential@ifrs.org or call +1 (424) 261-9930, and FSA Credential staff will respond as soon as possible.
