Stephen Edwards FCMA, CGMA and chairman, CIMA NW England & N Wales, started using Excel in 1992 whilst doing an MBA in the USA.
He has been modelling ever since, working for multinational companies and in the public sector.
Stephen has some magic formulas up his sleeve which he will share along with other Excel tips and shortcuts.

Stephen has been area chair for NW England & N Wales for two years, having previously served as chair of the Learning Education and Development committee.
Having started his career as a Chartered Building Surveyor, he switched into finance by doing an MBA in the USA, and then CIMA.
He has diverse global experience of business development in both public and private sectors, having worked in cross border IT outsourcing (including automotive, aerospace, airline, banking, telecoms and government), utilities (smart metering and energy storage), property and construction, student accommodation and UK government departments.
He has spent three decades creating business models to support a range of projects from PE backed businesses to multi-nationals including outsourcing international IT deals up to £1bn, and energy sector fund raising of £1bn from European and Japanese banks.
