Matt joined Kainos in 2016 and is responsible for the full group Finance Team, including FPA, Investor Relations, Treasury, Reporting, Tax, Payroll. He’s a qualified Chartered Accountant who received his training at PwC Belfast. Before Kainos, he gained previous experience at Citi and CME.
Matt will share insights from the Kainos rapid growth journey covering business re-organisations, acquisitions, and geographic expansion and how to build a successful roadmap for finance digital transformation and pitfalls to avoid.
Simon Foley, EMEA Capability Lead, Kainos.
Simon is a highly experienced finance professional and Chartered Accountant. His in-depth expertise covers a variety of functions including accounting, financial control, planning and performance reporting. Using his 25 years of digital transformation experience gained working with multinational companies, Simon enables customers across a wide range of sectors to transform their Finance / FP&A functions by leveraging technology and process improvement.
Nick Read – Group CFO, The Doctors Laboratory.
Nick is a highly regarded CFO with international, commercial and transformation experience working at board level in a range of sectors, including clinical services, real estate, media, IT, and supply chain. His finance career spans over 20 years working with household names such as Deloitte, Warner and Harper Collins. He has a strong record of delivering digital transformation and enabling finance teams to become better partners to the overall business through improving financial planning, reporting and forecasting.
Ian Cooper – Lead Transformation Consultant, IJ Cooper Consulting
Ian has 16 years of experience as a delivery-focused business and IT transformation consultant with a proven track record of delivering complex tier-1 global transformation programs including finance transformation projects. He’s worked across multiple sectors such as Financial Services, Utilities and Pharmaceuticals and for brands such as Deutsche Bank, Aviva, AstraZeneca, EON - plus is a trusted consultant for the UK Government (MOD/Home Office). He will share insights gained from delivering complex projects and from working closely with external consultancies and global delivery partners.
