Barry C. Melancon is the CEO of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the most influential body of professional accountants in the world with 600,000 members, candidates, and registrants living in 188 countries and territories. Formed in 2017, the Association combines the strengths of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), which Melancon also leads as President & CEO.
During his 41-year career, Melancon has served as an advocate for the accounting profession. He has built extensive relationships with governments around the world, extending the reach of the public and management accounting profession to new regions and opportunities.
Melancon joined the AICPA as CEO in 1995. He is now the longest serving CEO in the organisation’s 133-year history. Under his tenure, the AICPA has grown to become the largest membership body of CPAs in the world and has directed numerous initiatives to benefit not only the profession, but also investors, business owners, lenders and the general public. These include audit quality centers, private company reporting standards, the computerized CPA exam and two consumer financial literacy education programs.
Dr hab. Monika Łada, Prof. SGH, Warsaw School of Economics
Dr. hab. Monika Łada is a university professor at the Institute of Accounting at the Warsaw School of Economics. She is the author of research and popular accounting publications. Her research interests focus on the following issues: management accounting, accounting theory, and recently, the digital transformation of accounting. She specializes in qualitative research on accounting practices that is grounded in popular social theories.
Marta Szukiewicz – ACMA, CGMA, Senior Finance Director, HP Inc. Wrocław
Marta Szukiewicz joined HP Inc. on April 1st, 2017, as Transformation Director in EMEA Controllership Team. Through her work experience journey Marta held a variety position in HPE and DXC including EMEA Finance Operation Director and Wrocław Finance Site Leader. Prior to join HP in 2006 she acted as a financial controller in automotive and telco industries’ companies. Marta is Certified in Business Accounting and holds Master of Science Degree from the Wrocław University of Economics. Marta is fond of sports (skating, cycling, swimming, skiing) and for relax she likes reading crime stories. Most of her free time is absorbed by two kids, a husband, dog and cat.

Vikram Chellani, Head Finance Transformation for Continental Europe, HSBC, Krakow, Poland
Change and Transformation Leader with experience in setting up, mentoring and leading high performance change teams and automation that can create a high impact across multiple areas / geographies.Vikram has been with HSBC since 2005 and in that time has managed various teams in Finance Operations to manage cost and headcount targets, improve and automate processes and strengthen governance and controls. Supported of Head of the HSBC Global Finance Centres as an analyst and set-up of a large scale transformation programme to re-shape different aspects of HSBC's Global Finance centres including skills, ways of working, mindset for ambitious change and moving towards becoming the backbone of the Global Finance function in HSBC Head Finance Transformation for Continental Europe / Europe – HSBC, Krakow, Poland. In his current role as Head Finance Transformation for Continental Europe / Europe – HSBC, Krakow, Poland, Vikram has been responsible for Reporting Ops transformation for HBEU with ops model design and execution, global lead for automation across Finance supporting automation needs of 4000+ Finance staff across the HSBC franchise using a variety of tools.
