Tom Collins
Director and Associate Professor in Taxation - National Centre for Taxation Studies, UL
Tom has a background in tax practice and academia for over 40 years. During this period, he has spent 25 years in tax practice working with PWC and Deloitte in Limerick and Dublin and for two years with EY in New Zealand. He is director of the National Center for Taxation Studies in the University of Limerick and is responsible for the management of a partnership contract with the Office of the Revenue Commissioners through which over 2,000 Revenue students have graduated on three different programs under Tom's management. Tom is also course director for the professional diploma in contemporary taxation which includes modules on revenue law and negotiations, data analysis, international tax and artificial intelligence. Tom specializes in international tax and has a particular interest in relation to the taxation of intellectual property and transfer pricing.
