Brenda Jordan ACMA, CGMA - Founder, SOBI Analytics
Born in Dublin, Brenda Jordan began her career by establishing a successful Management Accountancy practice (CIMA MiP). Her practice excelled at helping clients make strategic business decisions, a success she attributes to her CIMA training, which emphasized accessing and interpreting data insights at a transactional level. However, as her practice grew, she identified a need for greater efficiency within her operations, as her team still relied heavily on spreadsheets for data analysis.
This realization led Brenda on a journey to find suitable technology to automate the manual analysis of client data. When her search yielded no suitable solutions, she founded SOBI Analytics in 2021. SOBI (Strategic Optimized Business Insights) was created to analyze, trend, forecast, and apply user-specific KPIs to a combination of financial and non-financial data, delivering real-time insights that were previously unattainable in her role as a Management Accountant and Advisor.
SOBI Analytics quickly gained traction in North America, especially as the demand for Client Advisory Services (CAS) increased. The addition of Kane Polakoff, a renowned CAS thought leader and policy maker, to her advisory board, further established SOBI as a significant player in the CAS field. Brenda is enthusiastic about the advantages of AI and is preparing to launch a groundbreaking solution in early 2025, poised to transform the accounting and advisory landscape for both advisors and their clients. Her dream of increasing the survival rate of startups is gradually becoming a reality.
