Michelle Zou
Michelle Zou is a Senior Manager - Tax Policy & Advocacy with the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (the Association, also referred to as AICPA) in Washington, DC. She supports the development and implementation of the Association’s tax policy and advocacy efforts, including coordinating with technical committees and contributing to the formulation and submission of recommendations to Congress, Treasury, and the IRS. Ms. Zou oversees the Association’s Partnership and S Corporation Technical Resource Panels (TRPs), working closely with practitioners to identify key technical issues and develop policy recommendations. She also contributes to discussions on emerging tax legislative and regulatory matters and engages with stakeholders across the tax community.
Ning Yim
Ning Yim is a Senior Manager for Tax Policy & Advocacy at the AICPA, based in Washington, DC. She supports the development and implementation of the Association’s tax policy and advocacy efforts, including the formulation, review, and submission of tax technical and policy recommendations to Congress, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and the Internal Revenue Service. She also plays a key role in developing the Association’s testimony for tax-related congressional hearings. In addition, Ning serves as staff liaison for the Association’s Corporations & Shareholders and State & Local Tax Technical Resource Panels. She writes and presents on emerging tax legislative and regulatory issues and regularly engages with government officials, peer organizations, and members of the media.
Glenn Gizzi
Glenn has worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 36 years. He began in Taxpayer Service in 1989 as a Taxpayer Service Specialist answering account and tax law questions on the IRS’stoll-free phone line until becoming a Revenue Agent in 1994. During his 11 years as an Agent, Glenn worked in the Examination Problem Resolution Unit as a caseworker, a cooperating Agent for Criminal Investigations and was a Taxpayer Advocate at the model walk-in office in Edison. Glenn is also a certified instructor for the IRS and has spent four years training the new incoming Revenue Agents from 2001 to 2005. Glenn worked in the former Taxpayer Education & Communication division during its stand-up in 2001 before it was eventually realigned into Communications & Liaison. His prior assignments included the Annual Federal State Tax Workshops, North & South Jersey Working Together, AARP, multilingual associations, school districts and the under-served community.
Krista Sullivan
Krista Sullivan has been with the Internal Revenue Service since 2009. Prior to joining the IRS, she worked in large private sector banks and accounting firms and held a CFP© (Certified Financial Planner) designation. She previously served as a Field Collection Revenue Officer and Group Manager before coming to Communications and Liaison, Stakeholder Liaison. She worked as a local Senior Stakeholder Liaison prior to her current role as Senior Tax Analyst. In her current role, she manages relationships with large national tax practitioner organizations. She works to identify and elevate issues of a broad national scope and represents the IRS at national conferences in public speaking and engagement roles. She also represents IRS Stakeholder Liaison as a subject matter expert on national project teams and facilitates roundtable feedback sessions with stakeholders across the country.
Kristin M. Esposito
CPA, MST
Based in Washington, DC, Kristin is a Director on the AICPA’s Tax Policy & Advocacy team. She works with volunteer leaders, policymakers and regulators to shape federal tax policy, improve tax administration, and advance the profession’s tax advocacy priorities.
Todd Sloves
Based in Washington, DC, Todd is a Director on the AICPA’s Congressional & Political Affairs team. He provides on‑the‑ground insights into congressional activity, political dynamics, and the tax issues gaining traction in Washington.
