Gillian Lees
Gillian is the Head of Research & Development at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), responsible for developing CIMA’s thought leadership and policy responses on governance and risk across all its key global markets. Gillian has written and presented widely on the subject, particularly in respect of how boards can oversee strategy and risk effectively by understanding their business model within the context of a changing external environment. She is also CIMA’s Technical Lead on a wide range of CGMA projects and authored the flagship report for the 2014 World Congress of Accountants, New Ways of Working – managing the open workforce.
