Speakers
Meghan Swiber
Meghan Swiber is a Director in U.S. Rates Strategy at BofA Global Research. She joined BofA Securities in 2020, and is responsible for publishing research and trade recommendations covering U.S. Rates and Macro strategy. Swiber specializes in formulating views on the TIPS market, Treasury supply and demand dynamics as well as flows and positioning. Before joining the firm, she was a member of the CIO team at JPMorgan Chase Private Bank for two years where she analyzed cross-asset returns and helped inform the CIO’s views on the macro landscape and central bank policy. Previously, Swiber was an associate in the Markets Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She spent five years on the open markets trading desk where she conducted analysis on global macroeconomic conditions and financial markets. Swiber earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and is a CFA charter holder. She is based in New York.
Carol Ng
Carol Ng is a Managing Director with Derivative Logic, where she specializes in helping corporate treasury, commercial real estate, private equity firms, and other financial institutions develop and implement strategies to quantify and mitigate their foreign exchange and interest rate risk, and other capital market exposures. With over 15 years of experience which includes over a decade of corporate and institutional risk management and advisory, she has been responsible for multiple ISDA master agreement negotiations, and transactions well in excess of $2 billion in notional FX and interest rate derivative contracts for a wide range of global, national, and regional clients. In related roles previously in her career, Carol helped to complete a successful $29 billion pension risk transfer for a Top 10-Fortune 500 client, and prior to that also performed quantitative risk analysis for institutional pension funds and other clients as an actuarial consultant. Carol earned an MBA and a bachelor’s in actuarial science from Brigham Young University. She is a CFA charter holder, and is based in Denver.
Matthew L. Goldberg
Matthew Goldberg is a Principal in the Valuation and Business Analytics group of BDO and leads the group’s Financial Services, Complex Financial Instruments, and Hard-to-Value Assets Practice. Having more than 15 years of advisory and financial services experience, Matthew brings his institutional experience when working with client to provide advisory services that achieve a range of business and strategic objectives. In addition, to providing valuation services, his practice provides model validation, risk management, and asset liability management consulting services. He has strong experience across industries and has focused on healthcare and life sciences throughout his career. He has been involved in numerous engagements including assisting management in strategic planning, performing projects for financial reporting and tax reporting, and providing advisory services related to mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining BDO, Matthew worked in a Big Four Firm’s Transaction Advisory Services Practice providing valuation services. His experience includes providing consulting services for buy- and sell-side transactions, investment banking, pre-acquisition due diligence, and business interruption analyses.
