While in Industry, experienced Chief Financial Officer with a demonstrated history of working with Private Equity Firms leading Organization growth through the life cycle(s) in various industries, including Computer Software and Technology, Manufacturing and Fabrication, Heavy Lifting and Transportation, and (a successful turnaround in the) Industrial-Frame Turbine Repair. Oversight in Accounting Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP"), IT, Supply Chain and Human Resources. Danielle Cheek
Danielle earned her Bachelors from Rice University in Houston, TX, and her Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. She is a Certified Public Account (CPA) in the State of Texas, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Danielle is the incoming Chair of the PCPS Technical Issues Committee with the American Institute for CPAs, was a 2014 Texas Society of CPA’s Rising Star, is a 5-time (2014-2018) 40 under 40 by the CPA Practice Advisor and a 2015 40 under 40 by the NACVA. She was also the first women to receive the AICPA’s Outstanding Young CPA of the Year Award in Honor of Maximo in 2016 and is a 3-time (2016-2018) Most Powerful Women in Accounting by CPA Practice Advisor. She is also part-time faculty at Rice University’s Jones School of Business teaching accounting for entrepreneurs to undergrads and data analytics to the Masters of Accountancy (MAcc) students. * Licensed only in Texas
Chris Argent
Christopher Argent wants to revolutionise the role of accounting and finance in business. He has been on this "finance meets data" learning journey for over 10 years and today leads CFO innovation programmes using his unique Digital Finance approach! Chris started as an accountant working at the coalface of business reaching divisional CFO of a global SME but something wasn't right. Chris needed to find more value in his role, more ways to collaborate and innovate in the face of growing business demands, so switched careers to lead Digital Transformation in accounting and finance with companies like John Lewis, Amazon, British American Tobacco and Vodafone. Today, he leads a boutique consulting practice and Digital Skills academy, Generation CFO, that advises on strategy and project assures cutting edge Digital Finance projects including advanced analytics, data visualisation, advanced financial modelling, process automation led by new or up skilled agile teams within your finance organisation.
