I’m a finance leader with expertise in strategic planning, process optimization, and compliance. I’ve driven cost-saving initiatives, streamlined global budgeting, and led successful financial system implementations. I started my career in public accounting and since leaving audit I have specialized in finance transformation (people, process, systems) in private equity backed companies including integrations of acquired businesses.
Aaron Siegel
Aaron is the U.S. Manager of Business Intelligence at Covestro, a world-leading supplier of high-tech polymer materials. He enables business users to make well-informed decisions through innovative reporting and analytic solutions. He focuses on efficiency, clarity, and delivering a high-quality user experience, consistently looking for ways to incorporate new technologies into established processes. He also serves as an AI Community Manager and consultant within Covestro's global Controlling/ FP&A organization, helping to drive AI adoption across the enterprise. Aaron has spent over 15 years at Covestro in varying Business Intelligence and FP&A roles, after beginning his career in sales. He also serves as a co-lead in the ACC's ChemITC Data & Analytics Networking Group. His diverse background gives him a unique perspective on bridging technical solutions with real-world business needs and delivering actionable insights that drive bottom-line impact.
Michael Burns
CPA, CGMA, CISA
Mike is the Head of U.S. Controlling / FP&A for Covestro, a world-leading supplier of high-tech polymer materials. Throughout his career, he is known for driving innovation, process improvement, talent development, and creating bottom-line impact. After starting his career at Deloitte, Mike has worked in corporate audit and various FP&A roles both in Pittsburgh, PA and abroad in Leverkusen, Germany. He has served on the AICPA Corporate Finance planning committee for several years. He is a CPA, CGMA, and CISA with a bachelor's degree in accounting from Robert Morris University.
