Dave Gagnon
Dave Gagnon, an audit partner based in KPMG's Boston office, is the firm's U.S. Sector Leader for Higher Education & Other Not-for-Profits. Dave serves several of the firm's clients and their engagement teams, providing insights on emerging industry matters affecting financial reporting, grant and contract regulations, and governance. He is also responsible for interfacing with KPMG's Department of Professional Practice on audit and accounting matters and developing industry thought leadership on a variety of topics. Dave has previously served as a member of the firm's Audit Quality team and is a Uniform Guidance Engagement Quality Concurring Reviewer.
Corinne Dougherty
Corinne Dougherty is a partner in KPMG's Washington, DC office. She has over 20 years of experience providing financial statement audit and related assurance services. Corinne is part of KPMG's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) leadership team. In this role, Corinne leads the development and delivery of ESG related training. She advises clients in developing best practices for ESG reporting and leads teams engaged to provide ESG assurance services. Corinne is a frequent speaker on ESG topics and has been featured in publications including the Center for Audit Quality, the Journal of Accountancy, Bloomberg, the Institute of Internal Auditors, Insights Magazine, Government Matters, and Federal News Network. Corinne has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Account, Certified Government Financial Manager, and received an Executive Certificate in Advancing Sustainability from NYU Stern's Center for Sustainable Business
