Danny Waxenberg
Danny joined Unum Group, one of the world's leading providers of workplace financial protection benefits, in 2002 and has held a variety of progressive leadership roles during his 20-year tenure. He has been in his current role as Senior Vice President, Global Financial Planning & Analysis since March of 2020. In this capacity, he is responsible for the financial support for the US product lines as well as planning and reporting for the global enterprise. He has previously served in several roles for Unum Group, including Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President, Global Financial Planning and Analysis and Financial Controller for Unum UK. Before joining Unum Group, Danny worked for Ernst & Young LLP. With over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, he brings a wealth of financial and technical expertise. Danny graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Master's Degree in accounting from the University of Alabama. He has served on several local boards in Chattanooga. In addition to his current position as Treasurer of the Cempa Community Care Board, he was a member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs and the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera. Danny resides in Chattanooga with his wife, and two children.
