Edward Jenkins
Edward R. Jenkins is a seasoned business executive that possesses an extensive educational background in business. His decades of experience includes being an alumnus of three of the remaining “Big 4” CPA firms. The first eight years of experience was as an auditor in public accounting and as a controller of a NYSE listed company. His remaining experience was gained in taxation; which included employment as a tax manager for another NYSE listed company, the head of a tax department in a mid-sized CPA firm, a “Big 4” tax consultant, and more recently as a Professor of Practice at Penn State University. In order to stay active in the profession, Mr. Jenkins is also the managing member of his own tax practice, Jenkins & Co., LLC., specializing in international tax compliance, defense and planning. Mr. Jenkins is proud to hold a B.S. in Economics (International) and MBA in both Accounting and International Business from the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University. Additionally, Mr. Jenkins earned a Master of Taxation degree from Villanova University School of Law. Mr. Jenkins is a contributing Editorial Board member of a quarterly professional journal, published by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“PICPA”) entitled The CPA Journal (former Chair). He is a frequent author and speaker on a variety of tax and accounting matters. Mr. Jenkins serves the PICPA on the Federal Tax Thought Leadership Committee (former Chair) and previously as the PICPA Liaison to the IRS. Additionally, he serves the AICPA on the Tax Practice and Responsibilities Committee. He previously served on the AICPA International Tax Technical Resource Panel and Tax Executive Committee.
