Daniela Arias
Daniela has been with Crowe for over ten years and has extensive experience in providing accounting and assurance services to clients primarily within the SEC space, with complexity ranging from de novo private entities to entities undergoing Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) to large accelerated SEC filers. Currently, Daniela helps lead Crowe’s efforts on Environmental, Social and Governance related services for Crowe. Daniela has been working to establish and grow Crowe’s Sustainability/ESG Services for the U.S. practice since 2020. As part of this work, she serves a broad spectrum of clients on matters including Stakeholder Engagement and Materiality Analysis, ESG Strategy work, Greenhouse Gas Emissions estimates and reviews and other ESG Subject Matter Expertise. Daniela actively participates in the AICPA’s Sustainability Assurance task force, serving as one of Crowe’s expert representatives helping to develop new chapters of the AICPA’s Sustainability Assurance guide. With her background serving large accelerated SEC filers in the External Audit space, implementation of new accounting standards, and ESG governance experience, Daniela brings practical perspectives as clients navigate the regulatory landscape around ESG and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Wes Kelly
Wes is a Partner in the Assurance Professional Practice (APP) group in the Livingston, New Jersey office of Crowe LLP. Wes has over 22 years of experience in public accounting, including two years as a Professional Accounting Fellow in the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s Office of the Chief Accountant and currently focuses on evaluating audit standards and audit quality matters in the National Office (APP).
Mridula Madipakkam
Mridula has several years of experience in the financial services industry supporting clients to develop, implement, and maintain compliance and risk programs in line with regulatory guidelines and expectations. Currently, she is a key member of Crowe's ESG Center of Excellence, and helps lead efforts on Environmental, Social and Governance related services for Crowe. Mridula has a proven track record of success in the execution and delivery of complex compliance engagements. With strong interpersonal and relationship skills, she has guided clients in responding to and remediating urgent regulatory feedback concerns. She has experience advising Senior Leadership and Executive teams on the establishment and on-going management of their compliance programs including developing governance structures, identifying resource requirements and process efficiencies, and imparting necessary training. Since early 2022, Mridula has been working with the Crowe's ESG Center of Excellence to help grow and develop the practice. As part of this effort, she has executed on a range of client services including stakeholder engagements and materiality assessments. She also presents at several conferences on the impact and role of the financial services industry on ESG.
Chris McClure
Christopher is a partner and the National Leader of Crowe's ESG Practice. He assists companies and their counsel in dealing with compliance and investigative issues. Christopher has significant experience dealing with SEC, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. He is a frequent speaker on the subject, most recently at the Corporate Director's Forum, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and through the Practicing Law Institute. His articles and quotes have appeared in Forbes and the LA Times. Christopher works with a wide variety of organizations to design and implement comprehensive compliance programs related to the proposed SEC climate rule, conflict minerals, anti-human trafficking, fraud prevention and anti-bribery, and other regulatory requirements.
Jennifer C. Monaghan
Ms. Monaghan is an audit partner located in the Louisville, Kentucky office. She has more than 30 years of experience with financial institutions. Prior to joining Crowe, Ms. Monaghan spent seven years at a $22 billion bank holding company as the regional commercial credit manager. She now provides audit and related services exclusively to financial institution clients. Highlights: Throughout her career, Ms. Monaghan has focused her efforts exclusively on serving financial institutions, and has significant experience with public company audits, business combinations and related SEC filings, and internal control audits. Current clients range from small community financial institutions to a large accelerated public company. Other experiences include the following: -Lead partner for establishing and managing ESG assurance services, including membership with the Crowe Global sustainability assurance committee -Serving on a task force for the Firm’s adoption of ISQM 2, which is the international audit quality standard related to engagement quality reviews -Serves as council member on Firm’s women’s leadership initiative, and chair of the Inspire subcommittee. -Responsible for the audit practice management of the Kentucky and Tennessee offices, including financial performance, exceptional client experience, business expansion, staff development, and talent recruiting.
