How to contribute

Matching gifts:
A matched gift doubles the impact of your donation to build future CPAs through scholarship funding. Once you contribute, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to have your gift matched by your employer.
General funding:
The AICPA Legacy Scholars program offers educational funding for college students majoring in accounting and aspiring to achieve CPA licensure. Educational funding includes reimbursement of CPA Exam fees and fellowships for CPAs pursuing an accounting doctoral degree.
Diversity Fund:
Donations to the Foundation’s Diversity Fund will aid in cultivating environments where our accounting and finance profession workforce is inclusive of all individuals, and where all voices and perspectives are represented. Supporting the profession in building cultures where everyone can grow and thrive is critical to our overall success and sustainability.
Donations will also be used to raise awareness and educate both student and professional members about the endless career opportunities available in the profession in support of their growth and belonging.
Controllers for a Cause Fund:
The Controllers Council™ contributes to the AICPA Foundation CPA Exam scholarship through their Controllers for a Cause™ Scholarship Fund. This fund aims to improve the CPA shortage and build awareness of the amazing career opportunities available to CPAs. This scholarship enhances the foundation’s ability to financially support CPA Exam candidates with the costs associated with taking the CPA Exam, including fees and preparatory courses.
The Controllers Council™ is a national membership association of more than 100,000 controllers, CFOs and corporate accounting and finance professionals who are focused on career development and best-practice resources for the next generation of CPAs.

AICPA Foundation Golf Classic
The AICPA Foundation Golf Classic is an annual golf event held a day or two prior to AICPA & CIMA ENGAGE. You are invited to contribute by participating, volunteering or sponsoring this fundraising event.
Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop
The Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop (ASLW) provides education and awareness around the breadth of career opportunities in accounting and finance to college and university students. ASLW seeks to inspire the next generation of accounting and finance professionals and expand the pipeline of talent for the profession.
Your donation will help cover the cost of attendance for students so they can pursue their goal of becoming accounting and finance professionals.
