CIMA Benevolent Fund
The CIMA Benevolent Fund was originally created in the 1970s and recently restructured as a new Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) (Charity No. 1196072) to assist CIMA members and their families through periods of hardship. Contribute to the CIMA Benevolent Fund today, so that CIMA Members in financial need may benefit tomorrow. Your generous donation is greatly appreciated.
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants’ Benevolent Fund (“the Fund”) was created to better support our members, because even for qualified CIMA members, difficulties can arise for reasons outside their control, such as serious illness, family problems or a prolonged period out of work. If you find that you are not in a circumstance of need, but rather in a position to help financially, please consider donating to the Fund. It is through these generous contributions that we are able to provide grants to those seeking assistance
Assistance offered through the CIMA Benevolent Fund
- Temporary monthly living expenses
- One-time grants
- Temporary monthly medical, mental and/or prescription expense payments, that exceed insurance coverage
- Most medically necessary services
- Other, as the Board of Trustees deems appropriate
Eligibility
- Current and former fully CGMA-qualified members of CIMA
- Partners and dependents of current and former fully CGMA-qualified members of CIMA
- Must exhibit evidence of financial need, per application and support documentation

Reclaim Gift Aid
As a UK taxpayer, you may select the option to add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A gift aid declaration allows CIMA Benevolent Fund to claim tax back on eligible donations. That means for every 1 you donate to the Fund, the charity can claim back 25p.
