London, 8 March 2025 – The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is proud to mark International Women’s Day 2025 by celebrating six outstanding female leaders in finance and accounting.
We are shining a spotlight on their inspiring career journeys to demonstrate the invaluable contributions female leaders make to today’s profession, and their inspiration for the next generation.
CIMA, the world’s leading membership organisation for management accountants, recognises the critical role women play across the world, and across the private and public sector. Our female members support their businesses and organisations every day of the year, leading organisational performance and supporting value creation. They are decision-makers, innovators, and forecasters who drive growth and sustainability.
Our Global Women to Watch recognition is designed to amplify the global voices of women who are making significant contributions to the accounting profession.
Championing female leadership in finance
This year’s campaign features six case studies of senior CIMA members who have excelled in their fields. These women have navigated challenges, broken barriers, and influenced strategic decision-making in their organisations. Their stories provide a powerful narrative of resilience, ambition, and excellence – offering inspiration to aspiring finance professionals across industries and sectors.
Andrew Harding, FCMA, CGMA, Chief Executive – Management Accounting at AICPA & CIMA, together as the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, said:
